Underbase (White Ink)

An underbase is a layer of white ink printed beneath a design on dark fabric so the colors on top stay vibrant and true instead of being muddied by the fabric color showing through. DTF and screen printing on dark garments both typically require an underbase; light-colored garments usually don't.
