Wall-Drop Repeat

A wall-drop (or half-drop) repeat offsets each repeating column of a pattern vertically by half the tile height, avoiding the grid-like look of a straight repeat. It's common in wallpaper and drapery fabric where a more organic, less obviously repeating pattern is desired.
