Sticker Size Chart: Standard Sticker

Kiss-cut or die-cut — and why it changes the size you should pick
Kiss-cut stickers leave a small rectangular backing sheet around the shape — cheaper to produce and a little easier to peel, since there's a clean edge to grab. Die-cut stickers are cut all the way through, following the outline exactly, with no visible backing at all. If you're picking a size off this chart for a die-cut order, remember the printed shape itself needs to hold up at that size — a thin, spindly logo can look great at 3 inches but fall apart as a die-cut at 1 inch, because there's simply not enough material left to cut cleanly around the fine detail.
Whatever size you land on, leave bleed — usually 0.0625 to 0.125 inches around the edge. Skip it and you risk a thin white sliver where the cutter didn't quite follow the artwork.
Sticker size FAQs
What is a standard sticker size?
There's no single fixed standard, but 2 to 3 inches is the most common range for die-cut logo stickers, and 3 inches is the typical default size.
What size are bumper stickers?
Classic bumper stickers run 3 × 11.5 in or 4 × 11 in. Smaller bumper-style stickers around 5 × 3 in are also common.
What is a good size for a business logo sticker?
2 to 3 inches suits most logos on laptops, bottles, and packaging. Go smaller — 1 to 1.5 inches — for small items or bulk giveaways.
What is the difference between kiss-cut and die-cut stickers?
Kiss-cut is cut through the sticker layer only, leaving a rectangular backing sheet — cheaper and easier to peel. Die-cut is cut all the way through, following the exact shape with no visible backing.
How much bleed do stickers need?
Typically 0.0625 to 0.125 inches around the design so the cut line has room to vary without leaving a white edge. Confirm with your printer, since it varies by cutting method.
