Color Profile (ICC Profile)

A color profile (or ICC profile) is a data file describing how a specific device or process reproduces color, used to keep colors consistent as a file moves from screen to printer. Mismatched or missing color profiles are a common cause of prints looking noticeably different from what a customer saw on screen.
