THE CLIENT
A Mexican travel brand that added photobooks for customers it already had
The Traveller Maps (thetravellermaps.com) is a travel brand from Mexico, built around the idea that the only thing you buy that makes you richer is travel. Isabel Saldaña, the founder, runs the Shopify store, which sells passport holders, carry-on backpacks, travel wallets and personalized world maps. Personalization is free, shipping covers all of Mexico, and more than 20,000 customers have bought from them.

THE PROBLEM
Photobooks need a real editor, not just a product page
The Traveller Maps became known for products that help people organize a trip. A photobook is a different kind of order. The customer has to upload dozens of photos, choose a layout and see the finished pages before paying. With a store this size, that had to work on its own, in Spanish, inside the same Shopify checkout customers already knew.
WHAT WE BUILT
A photobook designer in Spanish, built into their Shopify store
We added our photobook designer to thetravellermaps.com and translated the whole editor into Spanish. Customers choose a travel design, add their pictures and finish the book without leaving the store.
PB
Customers pick an album style, upload their photos and place them page by page. The store now offers six styles, including Travel Book, Life Books and Album Foto XL.
ES
Editor in Spanish
Every step of the designer is in Spanish, so a customer in Mexico can build a photobook without switching languages.
TD
Travel Designs
Our team set up book designs made for their travelers, with layouts that suit trip photos, maps and the way their customers like to remember a journey.

HOW IT WORKS TODAY
From picking a design to placing the order
The whole flow runs on thetravellermaps.com in Spanish, so a customer can finish a photobook without asking anyone for help.
01
Open the photobook page and choose one of the album styles.
02
Upload your travel photos and place them on the pages of the book.
03
Pick a travel design and adjust the layout in the editor.
04
Check the finished book and pay for it in the store.
WHAT CHANGED
A new photobook line, sold to customers who already trusted the brand
Photobooks launched this year, and Isabel tells us the segment is doing very well. People who already bought passport holders and maps from The Traveller Maps now have a photobook to order from the same store.
✓
Customers build their own photobook in Spanish, right inside the store.
✓
Travel-specific designs match what their customers actually want to put in a book.
✓
Adding pictures is simple for buyers, and our team stays available to Isabel when questions come up.

Live today and selling
The photobook designer is running on thetravellermaps.com now. We will add sales numbers here once Isabel’s team is ready to share them. We have also set up the same photobook designer in Romanian for WanderLab and in Turkish for The Lumaria.
